About
Joan Wood
With over 25 years under her belt, Joan Wood has seen it and, probably, retouched it. A fine arts and advertising major in college, Joan curiously found her niche in retouching after a few stints performing creepy-retoucher-training-weirdo-stuff like spotting, bleaching film and airbrushing dye transfer prints.
Still evolving as an artist in her own right, Joan set her sights on advertising and began freelance retouching for some of nyc’s biggest, and smallest, agencies. Her work for Revlon, Channel, Dior and Versace, to name many, have numerously appeared on the covers and pages of major fashion and news magazines including (plume of smoke escaping from my cigarette holder as I boastfully pull away) Vogue, Time and Newsweek.
Joan Wood (aka Joan Woodigital) is all about two things: service and quality. And if by some strange circumstance you’re not, don’t worry, you will be.
